Cadinell summit
A typical ascent to Cadinell (2113m) from the village of Josa de Cadí. Upon reaching the summit of Cadinell, we will have a spectacular panoramic view where we can see the entire southern face of the Cadí Range, the Cerneres valley, Pedraforca, the villages of Josa de Cadí and Tuixent, and the mountain of Arp.

Gallina Pelada summit
Ascent to Gallina Pelada (2322m) and the Serra d'Ensija from Font Freda. We will need to go to the small parking area at Font Freda, at the foot of the Serra d'Ensija. We will follow the trail marked with signs that guide us up with a notable elevation gain until we reach the top of Serra d'Ensija, where we will see the refuge. From there, we will continue in that direction to eventually reach the summit of Gallina Pelada. Throughout the ascent, the Pedraforca massif will be behind us, and once at the summit, we will have a panoramic view, seeing the entire Cadí Range, the southern face of Pedraforca, and on the other side, the Rasos de Peguera.

Fonts del Riu Fred
A short and easy route in the Vall de la Vansa, following the course of the Riu Fred until its source. This is an ideal route for families. The walk takes you through a magnificent setting, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. You leave the car next to the bins by the roadside under Sant Pere de la Vansa, and from there, you begin following a well-marked path.

From Josa to Gósol throught the old way
A typical route from Josa to Gósol via the old path. You need to take the street below that passes by the village bins, and then you’ll find a sign where the trail begins, leading up the Josa pass. Along the way, you’ll enjoy great views of the Gósol valley. After reaching the top, the path descends along the right side of the road, following the old path until you reach the village of Gósol. After the hike, a hearty breakfast at one of the local restaurants in the village is a must.

From Josa to Tuixent throught the old way
Another typical route from Josa is to follow the old path towards Tuixent. We will follow the Josa river until we reach the village of Tuixent, a perfect morning hike for families, ending with a hearty breakfast at one of the local establishments in Tuixent.

Pedraforca 360º
IAn essential route that goes around the Pedraforca massif. We start from the village of Gósol and head towards Font Terrers. We will continue uphill towards Font de la Roca until we reach Collell (the highest point of the route). From there, we will begin descending towards the Gresolet viewpoint and the Lluís Estasen Refuge, then head towards Coll de Jou and finally to Coll de la Creu, finishing in the village of Gósol. This route can be demanding due to its long duration, though the elevation gain is gradual, with no very steep sections.

Font de la Roca and el Collell
If you don't want to do the full long loop around Pedraforca, there are several options in the area to adapt the route. This outing is a section of the 360, starting in Gósol, where we will head towards Font Terrers. Once there, we will continue towards Font de la Roca until we reach Collell, where we will enjoy magnificent views of the northern face of Pedraforca, the wildest side. We will return the same way we came.

Tossa pelada and Pedró dels Quatre Batlles
n this route, we find ourselves on the mountain of Arp. We will leave the car at the parking lot of the Tuixent - La Vansa Nordic ski resort. We will pass by the Arp Refuge and the Sangonelles Refuge heading towards Font de Casali, continuing the path until we reach Cap de l'Obaga de Companys. From there, we will turn left towards the Pedró dels Quatre Batlles. We will then be on the Serra del Port del Compte, where we can link several peaks such as Vulturó, Tossal d'Estivella, and Tossa Pelada. We will descend towards Prat Llong, where we will find the free refuge of Cabana del Pastor, and finally return to the parking lot of the resort.
This is also a typical route for winter season activities like snowshoeing or mountain skiing, as it largely belongs to the skiable domain of the Tuixent - La Vansa resort, and the route is marked with signs.

Volta de l'Arp
Variant of the previous route, gentler and shorter. We leave the car at the parking lot of the Tuixent - La Vansa Nordic ski resort and head towards Sangonelles, passing by the Arp Refuge. Once at the Sangonelles meadow, we take a left turn that will lead us towards Prat Llong and the Cabana del Pastor, offering spectacular views of the Cadí Range and Pedraforca. Finally, we will descend back to the resort parking lot via the marked trails. Just like the previous route, this can also be done in the winter season. The Tuixent - La Vansa ski resort provides well-marked snowshoeing and mountain skiing circuits.

Serra del Verd (Gósol)
Route for the Serra del Verd from Gósol. We start near the Hermitage of Santa Margarida, heading towards Coll de la Mola, following the marked path with GR (red and white) and PR (yellow) markings. At some point, we will turn towards the Pla de la Mola, where only yellow markings will remain. Once at the Pla de la Mola, we will be rewarded with beautiful views. Finally, we will reach the summit of Cap del Verd (2284m). We will then descend towards Torrentsenta via Coll de Belitres until we reach the Hermitage of Santa Margarida. It is not a very demanding route, but it does have some elevation gain.

Vulturó summit
Ascent to the highest point of the Serra del Cadí. We start from the village of Josa de Cadí and head towards Coll de Jovell. Once at the pass, we turn right, heading north, to ascend to the top of the Serra. There is a steep climb of about 750 meters of elevation gain until we reach the summit of the Serra del Cadí, with a short scrambling section. During this ascent, the path is marked with GR signs and cairns. Once at the top of the Serra, we will descend to Coll de la Canal Baridana and then make a final ascent of about 150 meters of elevation gain to the summit of Vulturó. The return will be along the same route.
The route could be extended by heading towards the Canal del Cristall and the Pic de Costa Cabirolera. The descent would be via Coll de les Bassotes, and we would reach Collel, with views of the northern face of Pedraforca. The return would then go through the Cerneres Valley until we reach Josa de Cadí.

Pollegó superior of Pedraforca via Coll de Verdet
Typical and emblematic ascent to the Upper Pollegó of Pedraforca. The ascent begins at the parking lot of the Gresolet viewpoint and heads towards the Lluís Estasen Refuge. Once past the refuge, continue uphill towards the Verdet Pass through the forest. After passing the Verdet Pass, there is a scramble to reach the summit. Although the difficulty is not extremely high, it requires caution. Once at the summit, the descent begins through the scree, so be careful. We will return to the Lluís Estasen Refuge and finally head back to the parking lot of the Gresolet viewpoint.

Sorribes de la Vansa - Sant Julià dels Garrics - Cascada del Riu Bona
A very easy route for all ages. You can start from Sorribes de la Vansa and walk towards Sant Julià dels Garrics (around 1 hour), or drive directly to Sant Julià dels Garrics. Once there, you will find 3 routes of different difficulties (classified by colors) that will take you along the course of the Riu Bona.

4X4 ROUTES
An impressive setting that invites you to explore 4x4 routes full of excitement. Venture into inhospitable paths and discover spectacular landscapes while enjoying the adventure on wheels.
*It is important to remember that in order to do these routes, it is essential to have a four-wheel drive (4x4) vehicle capable of driving on unpaved roads/forest tracks.
From Josa to Cornellana via the Coll de Jovell
Spectacular 4x4 route that starts from the village of Josa de Cadí, taking the track in front of the village that climbs toward Cadinell. We’ll follow the forest trail through black pine woods until we reach the Coll de Jovell, at the foot of the southern face of the Cadí and Cadinell. We then continue in the opposite direction from Josa de Cadí until we reach a fork, where we take the right-hand track and follow it all the way to Cornellana. The return to Josa de Cadí is done on a paved road passing through Tuixent.
From Saldes to Gisclareny via the Lluís Estasen refuge and the Pla de les Bassotes
Spectacular 4x4 route through the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. From Josa, drive to Saldes on a paved road. Just before reaching Saldes, take the turnoff toward the Lluís Estasen Refuge, which leads to the Gresolet viewpoint. After passing the viewpoint and the refuge, continue along the forest track until you reach the Pla de les Bassotes, passing through Coll del Collel.
The track then heads toward the village of Gisclareny, passing through Coll de la Bauma and Coll de Bena. Once in Gisclareny, the return to Josa de Cadí is by paved road, going through Bagà, Saldes, and Gósol.
From Saldes to Gisclareny via Gresolet
Magnificent 4x4 route around the Pedraforca mountain. The journey begins by driving to Saldes and heading in the direction of Berga. At the Pont de Saldes, take the turnoff toward Gresolet, which becomes a forest track. The first stop is the Gresolet refuge and sanctuary.
The route continues toward Coll de la Bauma, passing through the Gresolet beech forest. Once at Coll de la Bauma, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the north face of Pedraforca and the entire Cerneres Valley, with the southern face of the Serra del Cadí and Cadinell in the background. The forest track continues to Coll de Bena, where you then take the road to Gisclareny until you reach the village.
The return is on a paved road, passing through Bagà, Saldes, and Gósol before arriving back in Josa de Cadí.
From Tuixent to Gósol via the Serra del Verd (Coll de la Mola)
Magnificent 4x4 route through the Serra del Verd. Start from Josa towards Tuixent, heading in the direction of the Tuixent-La Vansa Nordic Ski Resort. After crossing a small stone bridge, take the turnoff toward the Planells del Sastró. Continue along the forest track until you reach Coll de la Mola, passing through the Planells del Sastró.
After Coll de la Mola, there will be a point where you need to follow the forest track and take a left turn toward Gósol. Before reaching the village, you'll pass by the Ermita de Santa Margarida de Gósol.
